Manage OrdersMANAGE ORDERS/PAID ORDERS/AWAITING PAYMENT
From here you can view orders and their status placed on your site. Manage Orders will take you to the main orders area. Paid Orders and Awaiting Payment are shortcuts to see only orders of this type.
Search OrdersYou can search for orders by order status (e.g. awaiting payment, shipped, paid, etc.) or by individual customer by making a selection from the drop down menus and entering some relevant details, followed by clicking "Show Orders."
By clicking the "Manage" icon, shown to the right of the order you wish to manage, you can view the customer details and delivery information (although you cannot edit customer information in this section).
You can change the order status by selecting one from the drop down menu and clicking "Change Status."
If a user has opted to have the site remember their details, the order status shown here will also be shown to them when they log into the site. They will also receive the relevant email template when their order status has been updated.
The "Items" section allows you to keep track of which items have been shipped. This is for your information only and not displayed to the customer at any point. Once you have shipped an item you can select the amount you have shipped and click "Update."
Delivery NoteHere you can enter any details that you wish regarding the order. This will be included in emails/delivery notes sent to the customer using the View/Email invoice option.
If your customer has specified any particular delivery requirements, such as "to be left in the porch," or "with the neighbour;" you will be able to see this information here. Once you have entered any notes click "Update Delivery Note" to save the changes.
View/Print InvoiceOnce you have made any amendments to an order, if you wish to inform the customer click the "View/Print Invoice" button to display a copy of the order information with the order status, delivery note etc. This will appear in a new window. At the top of the new window you will see two options, one to print the invoice (this will open a print dialogue box where you can select the printer to use), or two to email the invoice.
If you click "Email" the invoice shown will be sent to the email address used during the purchases from your site.
