Special Product Displays & VAT

Templates

Here you can change the layout and look of your Best Sellers, Specials, New Products and Featured Products pages in the same way as your general categories.

To change the template, select one from the drop down menu and then click "Update" at the bottom of the page to confirm the changes. 

Then simply refresh the page on your website to view the changes you have made.

There will be a variety of structural templates to choose from for example having your products with in that category laid out in presentation style boxes side by side or maybe in a list format with the short description and image.  We suggest that you keep the presentation of your site relatively consistent for ease of navigation for your customers.

General

To show the special offers box, which will appear in the designated area decided during your bespoke graphic design stage, check the "Show Special Offers Box" check box.

You can choose to show special offers in text format or text and display picture format.

If you wish to show images in the special offers box then check the "Show Images in Special Offers Box" check box.

Price Format

Here you can choose how you wish prices to be displayed throughout your site.

"Large Format" refers to areas where there is lots of screen space for prices to be displayed such as on a product page, whilst Small Format refers to areas where the price must be displayed on a single line such as when you are looking at the list of products available within a category.

To display your product pricing with VAT, type "£%price_vat" into the text box.

Or to display your price without VAT, type "£%price_normal"

Then click "Update" to confirm the changes.

The VAT will be broken down for your customers and in your orders and reports for viewing, along with any shipping and/discounts that have been applied.
