Google Base Feed

If you have a Google Base account you can further maximise your online exposure  and influence your website appearing on the Shopping List Results in a Google search.

If you do not have a Google Base Account we strongly suggest that you register for FREE by searching Google Base Feed.  You will require a Google Mail account which you can also set up for free.

This is where you need to select the categories you wish this to be applied to.

To do this select "Google Base Feed" from the "Settings" tab in the Menu, and then select which categories you wish to add using the drop-down menu.

To generate the feed just click the "Generate" button.

Once you do this a Feed will be created for you to add in to your Google Base Feed Account.  The link will appear as below;

Next, right click on the feed link and "Save link as" or "Save as" and save the link to somewhere safe on your desktop or in a relevant folder.

Then go to your Google Base Account. 

Select "New Data Feed"

Fill in the relevant information and choose a file name for the feed.

You will then have the Feed generated in your account.  To upload the feed in to Google Shopping click "Manual Upload" or you can schedule and upload time if you wish.

Once clicking manual upload you can browse and upload the feed data that you previously saved to your desktop or memerable folder and click "Upload and process this file"

This will then indicate that the xml feed file is being processed and fed in to Google shopping.
