Outlook Express Email Setup

If this is the first time you've run Outlook Express, the Internet Connection Wizard should be the first thing you see.

1. If you don't see the Internet Connection Wizard, go to Tools on the top bar and select Accounts.

2. The Internet Accounts window will appear. Click Add, then Mail. This will launch the Internet Connection Wizard.

3. Enter your full name (or the name you'd like people to see when you send them email from this account) and click Next.

4. Enter the email address you're setting up, this could be a PlusNet address (yourname@username.plus.com) or a hosted domain address (something@yourdomain.co.uk). When you've done this click Next.

5. Now you'll need to enter your mail server addresses.

Choose POP3 or IMAP from the dropdown box at the top and enter the following for the mail servers. (IMAP is usefull if you access your email from more than one computer, as emails will be stored on the server.)

    * Incoming mail server: mail.yourwebsite.co.uk
    * Outgoing mail server: mail.yourwebsite.co.uk

When you've done this click Next.

6. Now you need to enter your email username and password.

Just add the username and password we provided you with, click next, and your done!
