Inclusive within every Quantum website system order is 12 months of our high quality website hosting service. If your website system will be involved in storing, processing or transmitting any cardholder data it will be transferred to one of our PCI DSS compliant servers before going live.

The Quantum hosting service supplies an incredibly reliable and high standard of website hosting. With an extremely high level of server uptime and consistently high speeds, the Quantum hosting service provides everything that your website will need to operate efficiently and quickly.
Hosting Service Level Agreement
Hardware Replacement Service Level Agreement Quantum Web Solutions guarantees that in the event of a dedicated server hardware failure, the faulty hardware will be replaced within 60 minutes of identifying the problem. In the event that this guarantee is not met, Quantum Web Solutions will issue a credit for ten times the actual amount of additional downtime. The amount of compensation may not exceed the customer's monthly recurring charge.
This guarantee does not include the time it requires to perform additional software related maintenance, including rebuilding web accounts from backups, reloading the operating system, reloading and configuring applications, or rebuilding raid arrays.
Network Uptime Service Level Agreement Quantum Web Solutions guarantees network uptime to be 99%. This guarantee assures that all major routing devices within our network are reachable from the global internet 99% of the time. If you are offered 100% network uptime you should ask just how realistic this is, as computers do need rebooting every so often.
Network SLA Exclusions
Many possible situations are completely beyond the control of Quantum Web Solutions, and therefore are not in the scope of this SLA. These situations include:
Scheduled Network Maintenance Occasionally network maintenance will be required. Quantum Web Solutions will do everything possible to minimize and avoid downtime during this maintenance. You will receive prior notification of upcoming maintenance at the email address we have on file. Scheduled maintenance periods are not eligible for SLA credits.
Hardware Maintenance On rare occasions, the hardware in your Dedicated Server may need maintenance or replacement. Quantum Web Solutions will do everything possible to minimize any downtime in these situations per our hardware replacement SLA. Any downtime incurred as a result of this maintenance will not be counted towards our network SLA.
Software Maintenance An important part of managing a dedicated server is keeping the software up to date. If you choose to have Quantum Web Solutions manage your server, occasional software updates will be required to address security or performance issues. Usually you will experience little or no downtime in these situations, but we cannot guarantee a specific amount of time in all situations.
Malicious Attacks If a third party not associated with Quantum Web Solutions initiates a "Denial of Service" or other form of disabling attack against your Dedicated Server or major portions of our network, Quantum Web Solutions will do everything in its power to stop the attack, but cannot guarantee a resolution time.
CPanel Issues If you choose to run CPanel and Web Host Manager on your Dedicated Server, the default install will be configured for automatic updates of CPanel related software. On occasion, one of these automatic updates could adversely affect all or part of the CPanel related software on you server. Quantum Web Solutions will do whatever is necessary to fix any CPanel related problems, but cannot guarantee a resolution time.
Quantum Backup
Here at Quantum we believe that your website and its data content deserve the very highest level of protection, and so that is why we have implemented several secure steps to backup your data and provide a comprehensive disaster recovery service.
With a client base that is constantly in a state of growth, the volume of data that is being added and stored to Quantum website systems is continually expanding. It is vital to backup your data, even on a personal computer at home; therefore taking every measure possible to secure the protection of our entire client base’s data is of the upmost importance.
Guardian Backup
The Guardian Managed Continuous Backup and Recovery service is a fully managed robust backup solution that provides continuous data protection and off-site disaster recovery. The system implements replication and synchronisation, with point-in-time snap shots, which provide a detailed backup of your website’s data that can be recovered on a time specific basis.
Our Guardian service backs up every changed file from your website 60 times per hour, allowing us to restore your data with an up-to-the-minute level of accuracy.
Guardian Backup Features: • Continuous Backups The Guardian agent keeps a journal of all disk changes, knowing what sectors on our servers have changed before the backup operation even starts. Guardian's method is less resource intensive than tradition file-by-file or block-by-block backup methods. • Incremental Snapshots The Guardian technology provides consistent point-in-time system-wide backup images. • Bare-Metal Disaster Recovery The Guardian can restore our servers directly from disk-based backups. Unlike traditional backup software, there is NO need to first partition the server and install the operating system. Bare-Metal-Recovery greatly increases the speed of complete system recovery from a catastrophic failure. • High Performance, Low System Impact Sector based backups increase throughput and reduce overhead. Servers can be fully operational with minimal performance impact during backups. Backups can usually be performed at anytime, even on busy servers.
Taking Additional Steps to Secure Your Data
Despite the employment of one of the highest level of backup services available, we have also taken several internal steps to ensure that your website and the content of it are secured to the highest possible degree.
We undertake a daily backup of all databases held transatlantically, as well as a backup of all of our locally stored files on our development servers onto our local backup server, keeping one backup a month for twelve months, one backup a week for four weeks, and one backup a day for seven days.
This provides us with a wide ranging collection of files to refer to should you wish to recover your data from a given date in the past.
In the event of disaster, we constantly undertake a policy of storing an off-site copy of the latest data backups every 2 days. Furthermore, on completion of your website and upon transfer to live server, a full copy of your website’s files and database is stored on removable media.
